Trials of Osiris is a weekend PvP mode that runs from the daily reset on Friday until the weekly reset on Tuesday, giving you four days to take part. Make sure to pay a visit to Saint-14 in the Tower to pick up a Trials card, which will dictate certain bonuses (such as whether you get bonus rewards at certain milestones or if a loss will be forgiven). During that time, you can also pay a visit to Xur to see what Exotics he's selling. You can also choose to swap to the Crucible Origin trait, One Quiet Moment, which greatly enhances your gun's reload speed when you reload while out of combat.Īs always, Trials becomes available from Friday's daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET until the weekly reset at the same time the following Tuesday. It gives you increased aim assist, reload speed, stability, and range on your Trials guns when you're the last living member of a fireteam or running solo. Trials weapons now carry the Alacrity Origin Trait. Flawless Reward: The Inquisitor (Adept).Reputation Rank 16: Trials Weapon (Changes for each rank reset).Reputation Rank 10: Trials Weapon (Changes for each rank reset).Reputation Rank 7: Enhancement Prism x 3.Here's where you'll play Trials of Osiris this weekend and what weapons you can earn for going flawless. If you're looking for some of the most high-level multiplayer action in the game, or you just want to have some fun in the 3v3 format mode, you can grab a Trials pass from Saint-14 in the Tower, get your best kit ready, and take a chance at winning a perfect run that will reward you with a coveted weapon when you're done. If you already have some of the weapons, you could always focus the engrams you get for alternative rolls.Destiny 2's weekend PvP mode, Trials of Osiris, is now live. The loot is in a knockout system and I already have all the available weapons except the new ones, which is why I've only got armor so far. I don't know if you can get weapons to drop. The one exception is after the 9th match, where you can do your 9th and 10th back to back to finish off the bounty. It usually will pop up twice after each match, but only the first one counts, even though it shows credit for both. There is a few minute cooldown between when the reactions count, so no point in having several streams open at once. I don't think I've ever seen someone stream without it running though. Make sure the destiny extension is active in the stream. I always just open a stream on my second monitor and glance over while I'm playing. You don't really need to actually pay attention to the streams. You're not going to fully reset your trials rank or anything, but so far it's been enough to get me two trials engrams each week, which in turn gave me 4/5 of the hunter armor set when I turned them in at Rahool. Once you do that 10 times, the "bounty" is complete, and you can go to Amanda Holliday to receive 200 trials xp. All this involves is clicking one of this little cartoon zavala images shown. When your watch anyone play trials on twitch, at the end of each match a little image will pop up asking you to "react" to the match outcome. You'll need a twitch account and have it linked to your bungie profile. You don't need to actually play trials to get some trials loot, however you do need to watch someone stream it for an hour or two. Not sure how well this is known or if it's been mentioned previously, so I apologize if this is already common knowledge.
